Tatum Kline, MT-BC, WMTR

Board Certified Music Therapist, Founder and Director of Services

Tatum is a board-certified music therapist who has been practicing since 2020 and founded Dynamic Music Therapy in 2023. Originally from western Wisconsin, she is passionate about bringing music therapy to the community that inspired her path.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Augsburg University and completed her clinical internship with Allina Home Health and Hospice. Her experience spans in-patient mental health, hospice, memory care, post-acute rehab, early childhood education, and school-based services. She has worked in individual and group settings, offering services in-home, in schools, in group homes, and in long-term care facilities.

Tatum uses a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel celebrated and are encouraged to express themselves freely while working toward their therapeutic goals. She has supported individuals across the lifespan with a range of needs, including dementia, Autism, mental health diagnoses, stroke, Parkinson’s, and developmental and intellectual disabilities.

She holds a Using Music in Mental Health Recovery certification and currently serves as the Events Chair for the Wisconsin Chapter of Music Therapy.

Outside of her work, Tatum enjoys camping, gardening, cooking, and making music with friends and family.
